I’m actually getting excited about the Walking Dead game as it’s set in the same world as the comic books, at the same time, and unlike the show, we won’t have to put up with Lori “vodka crotch” Grimes and everyone constantly telling Carl to get back in the house.

Based on Robert Kirkman’s groundbreaking comic book series, The Walking Dead is an episodic Adventure Horror game series set during the same apocalyptic period witnessed by Sheriff Rick Grimes. Telling the story of a new group of survivors as they struggle to flee the horror of Atlanta and the surrounding communities consumed by the undead, The Walking Dead offers players the chance to experience the very first days of the apocalypse, meeting people and participating in events that intersect with the story seen in the comic books.

The Walking Dead season one (subsequent episodes added monthly) is out now for Mac, PC and PS3 and should be out on Xbox Live Arcade soon.

Skyrim meets My Little Pony (again) with this mod that allows you to play as “Pinkie Pie” and is sure to have all the bronies excited. There’s even My Little Pony weapons and armor to match.

They’re weapons and armor that look like My Little Pony characters!
You can find them located in two separate chests located right in front of Whiterun Stables.

You can also craft the weapons at either the forge or, if you want Pinkie Pie arrows, you can bake some in a cooking pot.

Halo Waypoint (which is now available for Android ) has mixed together two different Halo 4 music tracks, which were composed by Neil Davidge and recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London for your listening pleasure.

Will this Star Trek game based on the rebooted universe finally be the “great Star Trek” game we’ve waited decades for?

The game’s original story is being penned by BAFTA award winner and God of War writer Marianne Krawczyk in collaboration with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, writers and producers for the upcoming Star Trek film. Built from the ground up as the ultimate co-op experience, the Star Trek video game lets players control both Kirk and Spock in a sweeping journey of epic proportions across unexplored planets and enemy battleships with the latest 23rd century weapons and gear. Kirk and Spock’s complementary personalities result in the most fully realized and varied co-op experiences for this console generation.

Developed by Digital Extremes, Star Trek comes out for PS3/Xbox 360/PC in Q1 of 2013.
