Watch an Eve Online player (The awesome space based MMO) start an orbital bombardment in the FPS Dust 514.
Dust 514 is an FPS that takes place in and influences the universe of MMO Eve Online. It will be released free on the PlayStation Network and because they are in the some universe the developers have made it so that the two games can interact and influence each other in real-time.
In the first few seconds of the video below, you’ll see an Eve Online player on the left initiate the Orbital Bombardment that takes place in Dust 514 on the right.
This is absolutely awesome but leaves me wondering why, if they can do this between an MMO and the PSN, why can’t I yet snipe my mates in the head in Modern Warfare 3 when they’re on PSN and I’m on Xbox Live.
