This video was published by the European Commission for a campaign designed to attract more women to careers in science. The commission said that the video had to “speak their language to get their attention” and that it was intended to be “fun, catchy” and strike a chord with young people. They did not expect the negative reaction they received, and have since taken it down. So do you think this one would encourage women to become interested in science, or does it just do a really bad job of reinforcing stereotypes?
