Hot Toys has released photos of another of their awesome collectible action figure for The Avengers…  and this time it’s Black Widow!

While I understand the appeal of collectibles, is it just me or does this 1/6th scale version of Black Widow place itself firmly in the uncanny valley?

Also, I’m not going to make any jokes at all about how the support stand grabs her crotch.

Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/6th scale Black Widow Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the smash hit The Avengers. The movie-accurate Black Widow collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Scarlett Johansson in the movie, highlighting the newly sculpted head, hair implantation, prominent body shape, highly detailed costume and accessories.

Here’s one for Hunger Games fans, collectors and Barbie Doll enthusiasts alike – The Katniss Barbie Doll.

Hunger Games Katniss doll wears a hooded jacket, top, and military-style pants inspired by the costume Katniss wore in the film. Included are bow, arrows, and quiver. Completing her look is the iconic mockingjay pin.

The Katniss Everdeen Barbie doll is available fro pre-order from Amazon for $29.95 and ships September 1st.

If I had $6000 bucks to spare I’d be screaming “Shut up and take my money!” right now as this seven foot tall Darth Malgus statue is awesome.

For those of you familiar with Star Wars but unfamiliar with Malgus, he’s a central character from Star Wars: The Old Republic. Responsible for killing Jedi Master Ven Zallow during the sack of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, it’s fair to say that he’s a lightsaber wielding, baldy bad-ass.

The life-sized replica, created by Sideshow Collectibles, stands 88 inches tall (7 foot 4 inches/2.2m high), and weighs 159lbs/72kg, includes a light-up lightsaber, LED lights in the chest, collar and wrist gauntlets, and a fabric hood.

Shipping of the Darth Malgus statue begins in June and can be yours for the paltry sum of $6000.
